Our best friends suggested we come and join them at Forster, so we found the Lakeside property... in fact, they liked our apartment so much, they came over and cooked BBQ's for us! What surprised them was that we were able to deal direct with the owner and booked for the period we wanted and we weren't 'locked-in' to a Saturday to Saturday arrangement (as was their case at Tuncurry). It was so good, we have already booked again for the corresponding period later in 2011!"

"We did enjoy our few days at Forster. The unit was ideally located with plenty of room to spread out and with everything we needed. It's the sort of place you go if you just want to 'chill-out' that's for sure. Across the road for a waterside brekky, a short stroll into town. Hard to beat. The fact that you could unload / load your car under cover is a good concept too in case the weather happens to be damp. The weather for the first two days was 'ordinary' so I was just about to register our complaint in the guest book (joking) and lo and behold the last day was perfect."

"Chill-out lakeside is a great property to stay at and very good value. A child friendly location with a cafe across the road, a lakeside bathing area next to it and a short walk into town. Everything you could need is provided and the view from the balcony to the lake is a bonus."

Had a ball with Robbie from Forster Fishing Charters who picked us up in the boat from the dock out side the apartment and would highly recommend a trip out with him. The Wife also highly recommends MH Hair on Little Street. Paradise Marina do a great deal on a Pontoon/Party boat and all this just at the front door. I could not think of a better way for my dad to start his four month stay in OZ after leaving a dreary old English winter. Thanks Heaps Annmaree, we will definitely be back for more of the same."

"Despite the cold weather we had a great time at chill-out - the heaters, snuggle rugs and thick carpet kept us nice and warm while our toddler loved the big box with toys we discovered in his wardrobe. On one sunny day we hired a boat from right across the street and explored Lake Wallis, which was a beautiful as the view from our balcony promised it would be.
